The quality of the shirt itself is fantastic - it is soft, but not see-through. I haven't washed it yet, but I believe it is sturdy enough to hold up to multiple washings. The design is a wonderful tribute to Jim Henson - I love that it is not a franchise character. Sesame Street, the Muppets, etc are fundamentally Jim, but this showcases the artist behind those iconic creations. So glad I purchased this!!
